Visual LANSA Components – Fundamentals (VLW)
Designed for LANSA developers, this course teaches students how to use the Visual LANSA component editor to build event-driven applications. Topics discussed and practiced include Visual LANSA Editor, Visual Feedback, Tree and List Type Components, Layout Managers, Menus, Multi-Form Applications and Writing Reusable Parts. The final day of the workshop, focuses on using the Visual LANSA Framework to rapidly prototype and develop applications. This course progressively builds the attendee's knowledge of the various features of Visual LANSA. It is workshop based, with emphasis on hands-on training. It also discusses the procedural- versus events-based programming paradigm.
