| Details: | Use this Visual LANSA Form on a Visual LANSA Development PC to
modify the definitions of all JD Edwards Fields in the repository,
changing them to the definition as defined in F9201 (JDE Data
Dictionary). It will modify the decimals and the edit code, thereby
freeing the developer from creating Virtual or Work fields to handle the
transformations. After running the Form, which allows the developer to
choose the file definitions to convert, and checking in the field and
file definitions, the developer will be able to use the fields directly
in any LANSA-based component without programmatic modification of the
field data. The changes will apply to all forms of database access and
maintenance. In order to use this Form, JD Edwards File, F4902 must be "loaded" into Visual LANSA and "checked-in" to the iSeries. The LANSA Client File Definitions must also be imported into both Visual LANSA (Partition Initialization) and iSeries (LCLIENT Save File). The download contains the LImport for this code. |
