In Superserver applications when the AS/400 is already connected, the error message PRR0074 message may appear when the application is closed.
Error PRR0074: Communications operation attempted without a valid connection to SSN &1.
This error appears when the Superserver applications have used the values of DBID = *NONE and DBII = *NONE and the built-in function CONNECT_FILE.
The manuals state that:
"There is no real need to disconnect file(s). As the X_RUN command is terminating it will automatically disconnect any connected files."
If the DISCONNECT_FILE builtin function is added to the disconnection logic, the message will not be issued.
