Abstract:DBCS translations may be incorrect with IIS Plug-in
Submitted By:LANSA Technical Support
Last Review:December 2010

Description:

When using the IIS Plug-in and DBCS (Double Byte Character Set) languages, the translation of DBCS characters may appear incorrectly on the Web browsers.

Note:If your DBCS language is not listed here, please contact your local LANSA distributor for the necessary translation table.

Solution:

  1. Download the appropriate translation table file listed under the section Translation Tables.
  2. Install this translation table file (e.g., WPI_tchi) to the same directory to which the IIS Plug-in and WPI_Cp037 files are installed.
  3. In the Web Administrator, change the code page setting to this translation table name (e.g., WPI_tchi) without the .dat extension.

    e.g.
In the Web Administrator, change the code page setting to this translation table name (e.g., WPI_tchi) without the .dat extension.
