Impending changes of note:

June 2011 changes

  • The status of SQL Server 2005 has been updated to Ended in line with Microsoft Mainstream support.
  • Many updates to third party supported versions.
  • Multi-browser support for WAMs in V12 SP1

September 2010 changes

  • V12 LANSA for Linux is now available.
  • V12 is now complete across the LANSA product suite.
  • Updated third party supported versions.

July 2010 changes

  • The status of Windows Server 2003 has been updated to Ended in the V11 and V12 supported platforms documents in line with Microsoft Mainstream support.
  • LANSA Integrator - JVM (Windows) is only supported in 32-bit mode.

April 2010 changes

  • IBM i 7.1 is supported.

March 2010 changes

  • LANSA for the Web WAM development now supports IE8 in LANSA Version 12.
  • V12 Apache Plug-in only supported for Linux on Intel. This replaces the Java Servlet on this platform. Support for Sun Solaris on SPARC is now discontinued.

February 2010 changes

  • New Support Platforms document now available for V12.
  • Visual LANSA V12 ships with SQL Server 2008 Express as the development database rather than Sybase ASA.
  • Support for LANSA developed applications running on Sun Solaris platforms is now discontinued with the release of LANSA Version 12.
  • The Java Servlet is not supported in V12 on any platform.
  • Sybase ASA 9.0.2 is no longer supported by Sybase.
  • Altova Mapforce supported versions added for LANSA Composer.

January 2010 Changes

  • The status of Windows 7 has been updated in the V11 supported platforms document.

August 2009 Changes

  • V11 SP5 Linux software now available.

June 2009 Changes:

  • Updated third party end of support dates.

April 2009 Changes:

  • V5R3 no longer supported by IBM

March 2009 Changes:

  • V11 SP5 Apache Plug-in now GA (Linux on Intel confirmed/Sun Solaris on SPARC maintained). This replaces the Java Servlet on these platforms.
  • Visio 2007, Crystal Reports 2008 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 all now have a maintained status.
