Users with domain user access rights cannot log on to the LANSA server with the following setup. The user is defined as a domain user in the Primary Domain Controller. The LANSA server is installed in a separate server within the domain. The database for the LANSA system is MS SQL server. The connection to the SQL Server database fails because the domain user does not have enough rights to access the database tables. There are two workarounds to the problem:

  1. Make the domain users members of the local Administrators group on the server.
  2. Give the domain users "public", db_datareader, and db_datawriter permissions within the SQL Server database.
