EPC839 ships the new RAMP-TS feature.
While developing in RAMP-TS it is more manageable for each developer to configure to have their own folder which keeps their screens in isolation from other developers.
In case of sudden loss of the developer's RAMP-TS screens, the contents of this folder should also be regularly saved to disk, tape or into a separate drive as a part of a backup procedure.
When saving this into a different location, take precaution when using copy & paste from the IFS into separate folders from Windows Explorer as this could alter the file's attributes of each screen file.
The attributes that can potentially be altered are the code page number for each file, the ownership of the file object itself as well as the user authorities on each screen file. If this happens after you have restored from your backup to the IFS you will be required to use System i commands such as CPY, CHGOBJAUT etc.. to correct the file attributes.
