The License application programs for LANSA products allow expired or invalid licences to be removed or cleaned up. In Visual LANSA, use the Delete Selected button to delete unwanted, expired or invalid license codes. In LANSA for iSeries, use the F22 Delete function key. You must log in with a user with sufficient rights in order to have access to the F6 to create or F22 to delete. To establish if you have sufficient rights, refer to the section on the hierarchy of users that can Add/Delete licenses in F6 Add/Create and F22 Delete options not available.

Additionally, the JSMSUPP program (License Application program for Independent LANSA Integrator-specific licenses) has been also enhanced to allow expired or invalid licences to be removed or cleaned up. The JSMSUPP program has a new 1st argument, Clean, with associated 2nd argument controlling the status of the licences to be cleaned up. Allowable 2nd argument values are EXP (for expired), INV (for invalid) or ALL (for both).

Example calls are:

SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(<jsm library>/JSMSUPP) PARM('Clean' EXP)) JOB(CLNLICEXP)
SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(<jsm library>/JSMSUPP) PARM('Clean' INV)) JOB(CLNLICINV)
