|Abstract:||Missing Liiiconfig.txt error when installing EPC759 on a PC with multiple Visual LANSA V11.0 configurations|

When installing EPC759 on a PC with multiple configurations, the EPC installation can abort with the following error:
The EPC install program filters through all LANSA configurations to establish which configurations this EPC is applicable for. In a case where a particular configuration has been 'semi deleted' but not completely removed, the remaining configuration will be left in a corrupted state.
Note: The most likely cause of this situation is when a user deletes the Visual LANSA directories via windows explore rather than using the Visual LANSA V11.0 uninstall facility. This causes items to be 'left behind' which causes the error as the EPC install attempts to resolve to the 'bits' of the Visual LANSA configuration left behind.
For the 'semi deleted' configuration, use the Visual LANSA uninstall facility to properly delete this configuration. This facility is accessed via Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and will remove all the 'left over' parts of the Visual LANSA configuration. Once this configuration is removed via the uninstall, EPC759 can be installed to the appropriate configuration. If the same error is generated, it may be that there is another 'semi deleted' configuration that needs to be properly removed using the Visual LANSA uninstall facility.
In general, the Visual LANSA uninstall facility should be used to properly deletes unwanted configurations. This facility is accessed via Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and will remove all parts of a Visual LANSA configuration.
