The following error can be generated saving a LANSA Client query to file using Terminal Server.
This is caused by a missing DAO path in your PC registry that is required for use when running Terminal Server with LANSA Client.
There is a link on the Microsoft Support Web site which describes the need to register DAO details when using Terminal Server. See Cause 1: DAO Is Not Properly Registered
- On the computer that hosts Microsoft Windows Terminal Server or the computer on which Microsoft Access is installed, click Start, and then click Run.
- Type regsvr32 followed by the path to your DAO file. Enclose this path in quotation marks. For example, to register the DAO 3.5 library, use the following command:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\DAO350.DLL"
