Inside Sales Account Manager
Location: Downers Grove, Illinois
LANSA Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Department in leading the sales charge on a new line of mobile applications to extend existing customer systems to a variety of mobile platforms. This may also include working with our Account Executives and existing clients to quickly capture new business in this expanding market. Qualified candidates will be ambitious, responsive, and strive to satisfy our customers. This position will be responsible for both US and Canadian territories.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries
- Target specific accounts to relay the value proposition of the mobile offerings
- Assist Account Executives in identifying and generating new, qualified leads.
- Contact LANSA customers in assigned territory by phone, e-mail or other means to increase business in the territory.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or associates degree in a business or technology field from an accredited program
- 2-5 years sales experience
- Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Highly confident and professionally assertive individual who can instill confidence in clients and prospects

Associate Consultant
Location: Downers Grove, Illinois and Toronto, Ontario
Currently, we are actively seeking 2-3 self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Consulting teams in the Toronto and Chicago areas, servicing clients throughout North America and the Caribbean.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of our Services organization, you will work as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on billable assignments, typically under the direction of a Project Manager. Expertise and work efforts focus on the programming and development of new applications or the enhancements to existing applications using the LANSA tool set. Duties may be performed remotely from the LANSA offices or at customer’s site. An Associate Consultant operates under close supervision, guidance and tutelage of other LANSA consultants or client management on clearly defined assignments.
You will work on small to medium-sized projects, focusing on the programming and development of new applications or the extension or integration to existing systems or applications. You will assist in developing applications or customizing applications to meet customers' needs under direction of project leader.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a recognized degree from a Software Design and Development program and will be eager to gain experience designing and developing business applications. Or, if you are an experienced programmer and wish to learn and apply new technologies, this position is for you! Proficient PC skills and proficiency in one or more programming languages is required.
Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and want to be part of a professional, fast-paced Consulting team.
Previous experience with web or mobile development, C#.NET, web-services or Windows client-server development is a plus.

Customer Support Specialist
Location: North Sydney, Australia
Reporting to the Worldwide Customer Support Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled developer or support practitioner to join an established and professional technical support team.
The role involves supporting all of LANSA products – they are listed at www.lansa.com/products/index.htm. You will own a share of the support desk issues as they arrive each morning, determine the cause of the problem by test and/or liaison with the LANSA development team and, where necessary, define a solution and pass this to LANSA regional offices, partners and customers.
You will preferably have a university qualification and experience in PC support or helpdesk operations, with exposure to a wide range of operating systems on various platforms.
Some LANSA experience would be beneficial but it’s not important as lots of training will be provided on the full suite of LANSA products.
Experience, skills and attributes:
- An understanding of the importance of Customer Service and the ability to provide this under pressure situations
- Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new skills.
- A team player who can also be left to resolve complex problems on their own.
- A good understanding of the PC operating systems and PC based databases.
- Programming skills in any programming language because you will be developing internal systems in our own 4GL programming language (RDML).
- Good communications skills, especially written – as your email responses to customers (many of whom have English as a second language) with your questions and responses need to be clear, concise and to-the-point.

- You will need to have an outgoing and approachable personality as working with other teams will be an important part of the role
- You need to want to learn new skills and products and have the ability to meet deadlines and work productively under pressure.
