iAM for Development
iAM for Development provides the automation, tools, security and information needed to manage the entire application development, change history maintenance and distribution cycle.
iAM for Development frees IT staff by automating time consuming manual tasks while securing all environments from Development through Production. Workflow with access control enhances security and contributes to comply with a variety of regulation.
iAM for Development is specifically designed for development teams using LANSA solutions. It also supports all LANSA products, iSeries native sources/objects like Java, RPG, and Cobol and IFS/QDLS documents/objects.
iAM for Management
iAM for Management provides IT Managers with the information needed to manage and control development and maintenance projects throughout the entire application lifecycle.
iAM for Management Task/Project details include non-technical information required to manage and control project activities and the exchange of information between all individuals working on a project.
iAM for Visual LANSA
iAM for Visual LANSA provides two significant enhancements.
The first is particularly useful in development teams working on the same partition. When one developer pushes a change to the iSeries, LANSA will trigger a download of the updated objects to all the Visual LANSA development machines in the team. Using iAM for Visual LANSA, all recompilation of unchanged, but dependant objects on those machines will be automated, preventing productivity sapping compilation errors.
The second is that used in conjunction with iAM for End Users, iAM for Visual LANSA will completely automate the creation of .zip files, and distribution of new revisions of client software to end user windows machines where it will be automatically installed.
iAM for Windows Deployment
For users logging into Windows Terminal Services or Citrix to access LANSA client software, iAM for End Users is replaced by iAM for Windows Deployment to ensure that every logged in user is using the most recent version of client software at all times. If a user is logged out at the time of the update, they will be updated at the next login.
Additionally iAM for Windows Deployment may be used to move client software and resources accessed by client software (spreadsheets, html files, graphics) to Windows compatible files servers (Windows, Novell, Unix) reducing the load on iSeries servers.
iAM Analyzer
This incredible development tool generates a complete technical documentation of applications, easily accessible by the entire development staff. iAM Analyzer analyzes all definitions/objects included in LANSA partitions including source code for Functions, Visual LANSA Components, Web Components (Page, Visual and Script), Web pages and Web skeletons.
For each LANSA definition/object, iAM Analyzer searches the LANSA repository and identifies all LANSA cross references included in the selected definition/object as well as those cross references using the selected definition/object.
iAM for Software Upgrades
iAM for Software Upgrades is designed specifically to automate and manage distribution and installation of new/changed sources and objects sent by software providers to their Customers. It can be used by LANSA Partners developing and distributing LANSA-based solution packages and by decentralized corporate organizations with multiple, autonomous, IT departments or extremely high security installations.
iAM for End Users
Used with iAM for Visual LANSA, iAM for End Users ensure that every Windows client workstation is using the most recent version of client software at all times. If a user is logged out at the time of the update, they will be updated at the next login.
